Custard apple processing by Tribal Women of Udaipur

Rakesh Gupta is a Xavier’s Ranchi graduate and a Buddha Fellow.  Under his leadership Gram Shree has been able to substantially increase the annual income of tribal women of Udaipur, Rajasthan by freezing the pulp of wildly grown custard apples and selling the frozen pulp to caterers and ice-cream companies in India.

Farmveda Cooprative

Kaushalendra Yadav is an IIT Kanpur graduate and a Buddha Fellow. Under his leadership Farmveda is working with farmers to build cooperatives to help them  process and market their produce.

Dutch Roses in a flower market

Kolli Madhu is an IIM Ahmedabad graduate and a Buddha Fellow. Under his leadership M-Land is growing Dutch Roses in greenhouses to maximize income per unit area for farmers of Guntur, Andhra Pradesh.
